Behind leading scorers Kemba Walker and Donovan Mitchell, team USA handled Greece with ease.

Giannis Antetokounmpo came out with a flurry of 7 points that included a pull-up three. He was matched by Donovan Mitchell who scored the first 5 points for Team USA. But Team USA was able to cool off Giannis who ended the game with only 15 points.

Whenever Antetokounmpo tried to get to the rim, team USA did a solid job of walling off the paint to keep Giannis away. Giannis would then pass off to shooters but Greece shot a dreadful 26% as a team from three and it was one of the major reasons Team USA was able to get the 16-point, 69-53 win.

The only thing brighter than the refreshed tint on the Utah Jazz television broadcast was the play of Rudy Gobert and Dante Exum. In a lopsided victory, Dante and Rudy showcased their elite physical tools and talent in a dominant win.

With Rudy Gobert sitting, the Utah Jazz defense continued to play well even as the team plays with a more uptempo pace.

Ricky Rubio shined with a scorching 8/10 shooting night from the field. And Donovan Mitchell is making a case he might already be better than Devin Booker.

After a sluggish start that saw a large amount of defenses lapses and hot shooting from the Denver Nuggets, the Utah Jazz came roaring back in the second half to get the victory.

The adjustments in the second half paid off immensely as the Jazz found a way to slow down the Nuggets scoring more effectively.
Nikola Jokic gave Rudy Gobert problems but Rudy still managed 18 and 10.

In the first half, Alec Burks struggled on the defensive end but exploded in the fourth quarter helping the Jazz pull away from the Nuggets.

Joe Johnson and Ricky Rubio’s veteran presence can not be underestimated. They helped keep the Jazz calm to overcome the offensive onslaught from the Nuggets in the first half.

In a close defensive game, the Utah Jazz fell short to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Donovan Mitchell, Joe Ingles and Epke Udoh had strong performances against Jimmy Butler and Andrew Wiggins but it wasn’t enough to overcome a big night from Jamal Crawford and Karl Anthony Towns.

Derrick Favors had a strong performance showing an improved midrange jumper and has also shown an ability to pass the ball. Tonight he had three assists after having four against the Denver Nuggets a few nights before.

In their next game, the Jazz will face the new look Oklahoma City Thunder at home.
