Klay Thompson added 27 points (10-20 FG, 7-13 3pt FG) and 2 blocks in the victory. James Harden led the way for the Rockets with 35 points (11-25 FG, 6-15 3pt FG), 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals, while Chris Paul finished with 27 points (11-19 FG), 11 rebounds and 6 assists in the losing effort. Game 1 of the 2019 Western Conference Finals is set to take place in Oakland on Tuesday, May 14th at 9:00pm ET on ESPN.

Donovan Mitchell had a bad shooting night and it was the difference in the game against James Harden and the Houston Rockets. The Utah Jazz had a great season and it’ll be interesting to see what they do this offseason to help Mitchell and Gobert

In the final 54.8 seconds of the 4th quarter, the Houston Rockets forced a steal on a Donovan Mitchell drive and blocked a Rudy Gobert layup attempt to hold their lead and defeat the Utah Jazz, 100-93. With the win, the Rockets win the series 4-1 and advance to the Western Conference Semifinals, where they will face the winner of the Golden State Warriors-L.A. Clippers series. James Harden led the Rockets with a game-high 26 points (10-26 FG), to go with 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals and an NBA Playoffs career-high 4 blocks, while Clint Capela tallied 16 points (6-7 FG), 10 rebounds and 3 blocks in the victory. Royce O’Neale led the Jazz with a team-high 18 points (8-13 FG), to go with 5 rebounds and 2 assists, while Ricky Rubio finished with 17 points (7-15 FG) and 11 assists in the losing effort.
