It was clear the Memphis Grizzlies were not interested in winning the game against the Utah Jazz. Utah had no answer for Marc Gasol who shot 6/7 from three and 11/12 from the field and was promptly pulled at halftime. Tank you very much.

Nevertheless, it was a huge night for Dante Exum who looked every bit the top prospect he was touted to be. Exum shot 8/10 from the field including 3/4 from 3 for 21 points in 27 minutes. He also had 3 rebounds and 3 assists and was a major reason the Jazz pulled out a victory in what was a pretty unimpressive defensive performance.

Donovan Mitchell continues his strong play pouring in his standard 22 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. It’s amazing how reliable his scoring and playmaking are as a rookie. He’s truly special.

The Jazz have a tough road ahead of them and will need to improve in a lot of areas to ensure a playoff spot. Having Dante Exum provide this level of play will help with that immensely.

Snyder has been managing Exum situation in an excelent way, making him play in the very right moments for both making him build self-confidence and also help the team, but without throw him a lot of presure, just the neccesary. That is probably a big reason why he is exploting. Just saying.. so you guys let Snyder do his thing and decide lineups 😉

I am a contrarion I guess. I am still not sold on Exum. One good game doth not a star make or even a starter make. He has to stay healthy and be consistent. I mean, Sundiatta Gaines had that great shot against LBJ's team but I don't think he ever got a full year contract. Anyway, some other team with salary cap space and a willingness to take risks is going to offer Exum 12 to 14 million a year and Lindsay won't match and it was 4 years and millions of dollars just to see Ex have one good game against a tanking team. By the way, Exum has been the only product of the Jazz tanking on the entire team. Donovan came from good scouting, trey Lyles and a pick while Gobert was the 27th pick that most of the league could have chosen but passed on him. Well done, Jazz. But Ex is the only tanking product and overall, he hasn't panned out. And I am not convinced he will be here next year. Sorry if I just rocked any body's foundation to the core.

You clearly love Dante thats why you never gave much credit to Rubio, although he is one of the the main reason along with Rudy and Donovan of Jazz late succes.
Dante is a great player, long, athletic, etc… but Ricky will always make the team more solid, plus assists, points, defense, rebounds, etc… Rubio has very high IQ and will get much better running the jazz day by day, trust me, he is way more valuable than Dante.

Bet you Lindsey knows how Billy Beane felt in Moneyball when the coach won't play the person he wants him to play. Players bricking ugly shots when they have the magician AB riding the pine all year. Lindsey knows wassup. Quin just can't stand to have his precious system run incorrectly. The dude is an egomaniac
