Houston Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni analyzes the team’s 4-1 series victory against the Utah Jazz. D’Antoni also states his case for why James Harden should not only be the most valuable player, but the NBA’s Most Improved Player Award as well. Finally, D’Antoni jokes that he will not attend a potential Game 7 between the Golden State Warriors and LA Clippers, saying he’s been to Oracle enough.

when you're as elite as Harden is offensively he has expectations to perform at a certain level defensively…just because he's gotten better defensively he shouldn't get an award, you get good job bruh now go win a chip…and MVP, thats debatable

So I guess the MVP now goes to the guys who have the call most of the time. Harden is top 2 in usage rates and takes a shit ton of shots so of course he is goofy to have big numbers. Imagine if Curry was in Harden’s shoes right now.

As a thunder fan I'm actually happy for the Rockets, things are looking good for them and they're enjoying it. Since Harden started with us I'm gonna enjoy the ride. Hope they smash the warriors

    MVP: Giannis
Most Improved: Pascal Siakam or Kris Middleton
There needs to be an "OPY" designation for Offensive Player of the Year. Because James Harden would clearly win that category.

James Harden lead the league in turnovers this season. He even had more than turover prone Trae Young. Not to mention Harden has the most turnovers in a season in NBA history. All time great? Stop it.
